Integration of S7-1500 PU with OPEN OS

Hallo. No, APL isn't compatible. APL is only for Process Automation. For systems of the Factory Automation exists the Industry Library. The IL is the interface between APL and FA-Devices (like Panels). Please refer to:https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/50708061

OPEN OS is for the visualization of different Controller on the PCS 7 OS (without APL). For OPEN OS are standardized Icons and Faceplates in "APL-Design" available. Hallo Goldboy, TIA-Portal is the configuration tool of your S7-1500. OPEN OS is the configuration Tool for your PCS 7 Operator Station. OPEN OS creates a WinCC Connection to your S7-1500 and tags which read/write the values directly in the DB of the PLC.

I have a question about manual Integration S71500 PU with PCS7 open OS.

My question: if I create a program with TIA PORTAL  and I use sample blocks for WINCC V7 and STEP7(TIA Portal ) (Motor [FB620] Analog [FB640] Valve [FB630]) in order to update tags and alarms to Wincc explorer (pcs7) via PCS 7 open OS   is what possible with this blocks and what about the faceplate library APL.
