It should work anyway cause Runtime Persistence for internal tags was introduced in V7.0.
Regarding the last line from the quote above, it seems normal that Persistence only works when a start value is set. Otherwise it can't save the retained value. Brgds. |

I just created an new test project with only 2 internal tags, one binary tag and one unsigned 16 bit tag. I did not enable the "Start value"-checkbox but only the "Runtime Persistence"-checkbox. After first RT start, I gave both internal tags a value. After stopping RT, deactivating project and even "Close & Exit WinCC", WinCC remembers both valus when RT was started again. Tested on XP, WinCC v7.0.2.1, Single-User project. So under normal conditions, it can and should work. Brgds. |

WinCC Latest update 7 but as said above, on my system it works on v7.0.2.1 |

Any my system works on V7.0 SP2 no updates and without having to provide a start value. Regards, billwest |
