Is it acceptable to have an output before a function block, or do all outputs need to be at the end of each rung/network?

Anyway, another rookie question: Is it acceptable to have an output before a function block, or do all outputs need to be at the end of each rung/network? For example: see attachment Put outputs anywhere the Portal allows and works the way you want. Sometimes it makes it harder to troubleshoot when the -( )- type devices are not at the end of rungs/networks, but it's not that difficult. It saves having to stop where you want the output to be, then create a new rung and start it with that output being on preceding that FB.
