Hi all, Is there anybody who tried anything similar? I would have a similar case nowadays: Assume you have an SFC Type with a Set Point of type Real defined in the characteristics. But the unit of measure should be changeable dynamically as required withing CFC or HMI. Like with the MonAnL or other APL blocks. Would it be possible by adding a customized Input in the interface IO of the SFC Type instead of Characteristics? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, I don't think this is possible. The "s7_unit" is only supported in charts (function blocks, system function blocks, instance data blocks). Normally I suggest that you assign a enumeration to the parameter and then you can set the unit via the enumeration value dynamically, but it's a SFC and you do not have a lot of options. The only thing you can do is this (user case): A tank can be filled by volume or by time. In the SFC type, two setpoints are created: SP_Time (sec.) and SP_Volume (m3). With an additional parameter called: SP_Selection, you can either fill the tank by time or volume.
