Is it possible to download the firmware and the user program to an S7-1500 via the integrated WebServer?

Backup/restore and firmware updates are possible via the web server of an S7-1500 (see manual SIMATIC S7-1500, SIMATIC Drive Controller, ET 200SP, ET 200pro web server chapter 3.6. or 3.12).

However, it is not possible to load a user program via the web server.

However, it is possible to load a user program without TIA Portal via the SIMATIC Automation Tool (see SIMATIC Automation Tool V4.0 SP2 User Manual chapter 4.13).

Alternatively, the SIMATIC Memory Card can also be written to with the project data in the File Explorer before insertion into the CPU.

In both cases, the contents of the SIMATIC Memory Card must be generated in advance in the TIA Portal, e.g. by loading the programme into a target directory for a user-defined Card Reader.
