Is the hardware interrupt of S7400 digital input module downgradable into S7300 D/I interrupts?

Sir, I havean inquiry and I think your familiar of this one..One of our customer request us to downgrade thier PLC S7400 (CPU414-2DP) into S7300 (CPU317-2PN/DP) for the purpose of commonality of thier spare parts because all of thier machines were working at S7 300 CPU's. So we reconfigure thier hardware using new S7300 stations. [snip] ... -> Is the hardware interrupt ofS7400 digital input module downgradable intoS7300D/Iinterrupts? Check S7 400 module to be replaced by a bt S7 300 modules. Check which kind of Hardware interrupts are used in the user program (activated) , hardware interrupts are executed by OBs which are mostly available in S7300.So send us the order number to suggest one. Dear member Please note that these 2 DI modules in case of generating hardware interrupt provide same functionality.Please check if these function is used in OB4X (Hardware interrupt) in user program. The next point you should take care, diagnostic information the S7 400 DI module provides differs from the S7 300 DI module.Check in the user program, which features of diagnostic data used. Finally, please check the the manual of each module for reaction time or special physical characteristics which is included in the manual. I hope this helps BR BR
