JU to LAD?

Dear all,

Im using Siemens STEP7 V5.5,

I have problem with converting JU (Jump Unconditional) to LAD is that possible to convert?

for example

network

     L     MW   200

     T     MW   202

     JU    JMP2

 I know to solve the problem if I have JC

it would be like this

network

      L     MW   200

      T     MW   202

      SET   

      SAVE  

      CLR   

      A     BR

      JC    JMP2

If E0.0 (sorry, I have German version) is on, the jump will be executed. Thus A4.0 would not be reset, even when E0.3 is on.

Thank you man, Im so stupid the operation is called Jump Unconditional, the name is telling the point, it will jump nevermind on the log. state ( RLO=0 or RLO=1 ) so you just put blank line before. 

I will just post my case in attachment.

When E0.3 is on log.state "1" it will reset A4.0,

But to reset A4.1, E0.0 and E0.4 need to have log.state "1"  (RLO=1) then it will reset A4.1

If you press only E0.0 nothing happens (as you said) sorry i miss that.

This is case with Jump Conditional.

to reset A4.1 in that example E0.4 needs to be ON. All other inputs are not necessary as the instruction is after the label and would thus be executed regardless of jump.

to reset A4.0 it needs E0.3 to be ON and E0.0 to be OFF, as with E0.4 OFF the jump would not be executed.

Can you help me with converting CAW to LAD,

If you can't nevermind but It would be appropriate from me to make another topic on forum for today.

I tried with my example and I even tried with example from help,

And it cant convert..

L MW10

CAW

L MW20

I tried to add NOP 0 at the end but still effect is the same..

If you can, it's awesome, otherwise no problem friend

I will answer you here, as it will be helpful for others too. To convert CAW is a bit tricky, as there is no similar instruction in LAD. But you can do it as shown in attachment.

I use ROL instruction for exchanging bytes, but ROL only works with DW.

Just noticed a little quirks: at input N in ROL command it should be W#16#8 (instead of B#16#8)....
