Jump to the next field when "Enter" key pressed...

Celio Silva Posts: 36 Rating: (2)	Hello, I really searched in the forum, but did'nt found any answer, although I think it's simple to do ... I have a form in my application, where the machine's operator can input an order to produce. This data will be recorded in a database table, using SQL commands. Everything is working fine, so I want when the operator filled a field and press "Enter" key, the focus changes to the next field. I sucessfully tested this command to change the field focus : HMIRuntime.Screens("Principal.Screen_window_princ.Window_alter_BD").ScreenItems("I/O field_6").Activate I think a script must be associated in "Press key on keyboard" event on the I/O field, and detects when "Enter" key was pressed... Celio Silva Posts: 36 Rating: (2)	Well, I found the following solution In "object changed" event of each I/O field, the following VB code must be placed: HMIRuntime.Screens("Screen_1").ScreenItems("I/O field_1").Activate Where "I/O field_1" must be replaced by the name of the next field. It works fine, the only problem is if the new inputed value is equal the old value... In this case, nothing happens, because the object was not changed... Additionally, the "Tab order" can be corrected, so if the same value was inputed, the TAB key can be used to jump to the next field ! Best regards,

This means the object was not changed, and the script doesn't work... In this case, the TAB key must be pressed to jump to the next field. But for now, is enough for me Regards,
