Know when alarmwindow displays

rQx Bronze Member Joined: 12/9/2010 Last visit: 9/18/2024 Posts: 162 Rating: (4)	Hi! This questions apply to s7 1200 and a TP700 HMI. 1. Is there a way of get a tag set when the alarmwindow popup? I must know when the alarmwindow is present on my screen to display other things simultaniously.

If you alarms are generated by PLC then PLC san set specifinc tag when at least one alarm is active. Then you will know that there is active alarms in PLC. If you use HMI alarms also, then every alarm can trigger event on active action. And here you can set the same tag as in PLC. Same with system alarms.
