LOGO internal memory

carlosgreenpower Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Hello, First, thank you for your help. I have the doubt, when we program some values in the LOGO strategy, for example schedules, or times of a timer. The values keep them as long as they are of the original strategy. When they are changed, from the LWE and they are overturned, they continue to change the value. up there all ok. But when these last values are loaded, the LOGO loses tension, and we give it tension again. The values are established in the factory, I mean the original strategy, not the last modified from LWE. An example Set a timer with 10 seconds in LOGO Soft. I go to the LWE and set up 20 seconds. And everything works. When it stops being powered by a power outage, and has power again, the timer value is set to 10 seconds, it has not been 20 seconds since it was the last value Is there any way to keep the last values changed? Can it be done that the LOGO does not lose that memory, when there is a power cut? Thank you very much for your help

Can you please upload the LWE project and the LOGO! Program in zipped form? If you do not want to make it public, you can send methe zip file by private message.

Do not write the value from the LWE to the timer via parameter-VM mapping but into the parameter V1 of a mathematical instruction. Then the value is stored in the voltage-fail-safe memory (flash memory). Then pass by reference the output value of the mathematical instruction to the timer. But you have to choose the right timebase. And select the right format in the LWE. For simple timers, it's not HEX but unsigned. Attachment Untitled.JPG (732 Downloads)

Another problem that I find is, when I put a value on the web, and I give a start from the entry V0.0, in the strategy add 256 to the value I have set. I attach screenshots and strategies. The range provided for the user goes from V0.0 to V850.7, ie 6808 bits or 851 bytes. VB (bytes in VM memory) = VB0 to VB850 Example: You are using Word 0 in VM memory = VW0 for your timer. The VW0 contains 2 bytes, VB0 and VB1. VB0 contains 8 bits, V0.0 to V0.7. VB1 contains 8 bits, V1.0 to V1.7. So if you're using VW0 for the timer, you can no longer use V0.0 to V1.7 for other things like starting the timer.
