Hello,

Did you finally succedd on establish the connection between the S7300 CPU and S7-1200 CM1242?

I am configuring the HW and SW and I have doubs regarding how to programm the data exchange (I am using FB15 PUT) because I would want to send 750 bytes.

How many slots should I configure in the HW configuration of CM1242 module? I have configure 64 Word inpunt and 64 word output.

Any help?

pls save that diag buffer with Save button (on screen) and attach here. In other side, how you did cfg on S7-300 side? Do you use on S7-1200 side comm blocks? With other question about PUT/GET, all depends also to your CP version used on S7-300 system.

Update: now I'm not clear with your question, you want use CP on S7-300 (maybe CP343) with that CM1242-5 on S7-1200 or with S7-1200's PN port with PUT/GET? If so, I'm afarid that this will not work via PB connection. Only CM1243-5 has GET/PUT capability. Pls give clear informations again.

Regarding your update, you are right, I already saw in a siemens sheet that PUT/GET will not work with this CM. Till yet I did not make any configuration on s7-300 side. On 1200 side I only download the configuration hardware to CPU but with no significant configuration on CM because there is few parameters that we can change. I'm not using any comm block for while too, because I'm trying to understand why I get error state in s7-1200 because of CM. Tomorrow I will save the buffer and put it here. It's the first time I'm using this CM, and the only thing I can configure is the I-slave, and I need to configure something there to be able to transfer the project to PLC.
