I think when speed starts to increase from low to high (at hinge point it reduces & then increase to 100%) causing motor to draw high current, which is the reason behind tripping. Have you monitored/checked current at this point? How you checked CTs? Because if power supply card would have been faulty, then the problem would have been faced during first raising of speed upto 100%. At hinge point, systems demand current & cause needs to be check. Hello How you tested the power devices, through Master drives test jig OR by multimeter. How much current it is drawing at 100% speed. What is the current limit setting. Can you try by swapping the HALL EFFECT CTs from U2 to other phase and see if problem shifts. Then CT is the reason. Else CT is OK. Thanks Vijay |

yeah i did that, i swapped CT OF U1 with CT OF U3, but still F025. |

good morning Mr. vijay and Mr. piscean, thank you for your valuable comments guys, it is a shared drive. boom and trolley boom motor details: 500V, 75KW trolley motor details: 500V, 37*4KW set point in drive: 650V, 260A, 150KW During 100% speed, the value of current varies between 80-100A During slowdown, the current increases between 160-180A during the boom operation even at high speed the drive doesnt trip, it trips only during trolley motion and it is not frequent, may be once in a day of continuous operation, but once the drive trips with F025, it becomes frequent. after 3 or 4 hours of standby, if operated again. the fault vanishes. i have swapped the CTs but the fault remains the same. i tested the IGBTs with multimeter in diode mode. moreover, i swapped the IGBTs of line 1 and line 3. but still the fault remains in Line 1. what can i do next, shall i go with changing the triggering or IVI card( ivi card is connected to through multi wire planar cable) or will be there be some issues with the CUVC (i compared the parameters of CUVC with other cranes and found no difference) your help is need. |

Hello, I don't think that there is any problem in drive. Your drive nameplate & details specifies that it is with safe stop option (K80) Please check the proper functioning/working of same. Is your drive control by PLC profibus? (Option G91). Please check the PLC logic & drive commands as well as set point.

the problem is solved, thank you piscean, vijay and legacy support the fault was from the emergency circuit, safety relay was acting. but i couldnt understand why F025 was displayed in the drive while the problem was in the emergency circuit,confused... but anyways, problem solved. thank you guys.... |
