Max number profinet connection

Morning All,

I did try to search any info on Siemens web site, but unfortunately I didn't find what I'm looking for....

I need to develop the follow system control:

1) Nr°1 CPU 1214C

2) Nr°10 Sinamics G120C

3) Nr° 1 HMI KTP 900 Basic Panel

4) Nr°1 third part weighing unit link by means of Modbus TCP/IP  (as Modbus Server) to the CPU       1214C

I know is possible using the same profinet port of the Cpu 1214C to dialog with the units above described (points 2-3-4) but what I 'd like to know is the max number of sinamics drives that can be connected to the CPU 1214.

Looking on Siemens web site I find only this FAQ:

But  I need to know the max numbers of drives and where  find this info.

Hello,

you can check your CPU order number detailed HW specification, I expect there infos about max. connections due interface/protocol. Type your CPU order number in Search righ up box for that. In other side, important is make tests with real devices to know if all is as expected.
