hummm one more question: And the bytes of inputs/outputs ? I 20.0 interferes with M 20.0 ? PIW 256 inferferes with MW256 ? Thanks |

Dear Cpt_KirK, If you have used MD100 in your software, then we should know that MD100 is a double word consists of two word or in other words four bytes or in other words 32 bits MD100 = (MW100 & MW102) = (MB100 & MB101 & MB102 & MB103) = M100.0 ... M100.7, M101.0 ..............M103.7 Thus means if you used MD 100 in the software and then used MW 100, then you have made overlap. But that does not mean that it is not possible as sometimes we make this overlap. But you have to be careful. as these bits or words are accessed by the software from several blocks. For example if you want to convert real to integer. we use block REAL to DINT and use one of the two words of the output of the block. And simply we can monitor it in the refernce table. Please have a look on the attached picture. I have used MD 100, MW 100, MW 102 and some bits in MB100 too. Regards. |
