Hi, To make navigation in Desigo CC you make references to a particular system node. That system node can have a graphic reference through either a hidden symbol or a viewport area. The viewport area can then be associated to a certain depth and/or layer within the graphic. This has it´s limits tough and at around 300 objects in a graphic from my experience the loading times of the graphic goes down really fast. Also several of my customers want to stay in the same view and not be jumped over to the graphic view, i´ve solved this by associate the different viewports to different system nodes in the relevant view. For example in the engineering help:
This is a bit tedious and prone to failures using this method with broken links when views changes and Desigo CC updates. So most often i end up just duplicating the same graphic instead, especially in navigation and navigate through the different pages instead. Best regards Ronnie |
