Migrating Protool to Wincc Flex

Graeme Platinum Member Joined: 6/4/2008 Last visit: 3/20/2023 Posts: 1419 Rating: (314)	Thanks Hristo, I would have thought so too, however, I'm following thisprocedure to migrate the HMI embedded in a Simotion project from Protool to WinCC, and when I reach step 6 after clicking the Step7 integrated icon, the project is selected, but there are no files shown which I can then open into WinCC Flex. I know the Protool is embedded in the project, because when I open the project, I get the message Protool is missing from my PG (unknown version) I have obtained a copy of Protool 6, and will install it tomorrow, maybe this is the reason I cannot migrate. I used Simatic Step7 V5.4 SP5 and WinCCflex 2008 SP1 HF1. You must install WinCCflex in Fullmode so the Migration Wizard wil be installed on your system. When I installed the previous version of Protool, the setup mode was not automatically switched to Integrated????, therefore, when I clicked on Integrated in WinCC, the Protool object could not be found. I just clicked the button, and the mode switched to integrated, then the procedure works fine. Many thanks for your time, Graeme Attachment Integrated.JPG (81 Downloads)
