When I open the old project into 2008, it seems to migrate OK at first. Once I compile it I get 12 Error message and the compiler fails. These are "Appearance with invalid bit position at Text Field_xx". Therefore, the Runtime cannot be created either. There are some text field that are overlapped based on what screen is the active one (there are 2 locations). There are no issues of this nature when running the 2005 project hmi file. Attached are pictures of the screens from the XP PC running 2005 and the other screen shot of W 10 running 2008. I do not know where to look for the issue or how to fix it especially when it is not an issue presently on the 2005 program (works OK on site just want to upgrade PC's to W10) Attachmentscreen shot of 2008 SP3 and 2005 SP1.pdf (293 Downloads) |

Great, thanks for the suggestion. I did check one of the errors (Text Field 27) and see that in the animations, the box is yellowed for the bit number 1. This is the same bit number for the box underneath (Text Field 30). See the attached screen shot. I checked the original project in WinCC 2005 and this is OK. The programmer used the same overall green box to have one or the other text fields become active depending on the status of the system (i.e. Generator Running or Stopped). Looks like WinCC 2008 doesn't like this but I can't see where I can allow it to be OK (as it is in original project). Any further guidance would be much appreciated....thanks AttachmentDocument.pdf (294 Downloads) |
