MMC problem plz help

Raffy Posts: 209 Rating: (2)	Hi guys, Could somebody help me on how to delete the data on siemens mmc? Here's my situation... I've tried to delete the files on my mmc using cpu317-2DP... delete the blocks as well as those simatic 300 icon... then I tried using the mmc in cpu 314-2 DP but it seems to have a problem because during start-up the SF blinks continuously then after a few seconds all the LED lights were blinking (SF,BF,MAINT,FRCE,RUN,STP). then I could not connect to the plc (using pc usb adapter). What does those blinking lights mean? I thought when you have deleted all the blocks in the mmc you could use it to other cpu again..but it seems it doesn't work... plz help me with this problem guys, Thanks...

Hello Raffy, How you try to reset the MMC through the S7 Option? try to do the How do you reset a SIMATIC S7-300 CPU and MMC (default reset or overall reset)? or Which devices can you use to read from, write to or delete from an S7-300 MMC (Micro Memory Card) outside the CPU? Try to Used this way with Field PG.............

I did the warm restart and on those instructions posted by siemens....but i think it doesn't work for me...I deleted the files in mmc using another cpu which was the CPU 317-2 DP...then transferred the mmc to cpu 314-2 DP and finally after few tries it worked.... I really didn't know how I'd fixed it... but it works now....and the blinking of the LEDs were gone.....
