Modbus Holding Registers

k.k Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Hi.., We have ET200s IM15-8 CPU with Modbus serial Interface Module configured as Modbus slave for Communication to master ( CP341) Located at CCR.. In Slave Part as per the Manual I Created S_MODB Block FB81 in OB1 Cyclic Programme and one DB100 for Conversion table. When i used to check the slave with third party Modscan Tool, The slave get response but in holding registers i am not getting the any Data's ( Modscan Tool Displaying : " Modbus Exception response from slave Device ") Pls advice me if any thing is missed in slave programme part or how to solve this case very urgent.........

Today I tried directly connect to CP341 master module, In slave part at S_Modb FB at error number zero error no is getting, data ( Holding registers ,FC03 ) which i sent is receiving at master side But in our application master also want to sent some data to slave for that what function code have to use and how to define in the slave part........

Function code 5 allows the master to write a single coil (address 00001->) to the slave device Function code 15 allows the master to write multiple coils (address 00001->) to the slave device Function code 6 allows the master to write a single holding register (address 40001->) to the slave device Function code 16 allows the master to write multiple holding registers (address 40001->) to the slave device So you fixed the previous problem that you had?
