Modbus Master CP 341

ali_abc Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Hello I'm using CP 341 (6ES7 341-1CH01-0AE0) with Dongle (C79459-A1715-B21) and set the parameter of cp 341 as MODBUS MASTER. But in Step 7 I don't see any modbus library. Their is any modbus function block exist in s7? or i write code for modbus master using FB 7 (P_RCV_PK) & FB 8 (P_SND_PK)?

Kaulquappe Posts: 3093 Rating: (323)	Hello ali_abc, a sample project is installed with PtP-Param. Just use the "browse" button after opening the tab "sample projects" when using Step7 classic. A sample project for TIA can be found here. Regards, Kaulquappe

Can I use cp 341 (with parameter ASCII or RK512 or 3964[R]) without dongle as modbus master using coding (with FB7 P_RCV_PK & FB8 P_SND_PK)? why we use dongle. The modbus master sample program (zXX21_04_PtP_Com_MODMA) also use these FB7 & FB8.
