Hi everyone, recently i work on project with PLC Siemens S7-300 CPU312C and need to implement PID control. FB41 did well but i read that there is library Modular PID Control which contain more complex function but not included in stdlibrary. Can I use it for CPU312C since this manual not mention anything about CPU312C ? have anyone experienced use it for CPU312C ? thanks best regards, Shaumi Arif Al Faizin |

Hello, that CPU and its imitation is not a good device to use function blocks of modular PID control to create really complex control structure.If you insist on using this product search for the following topics in STEP 7 Additional Software for more details: 1-PID clarification 2-How to purchase function blocks of modular PID control I am sure, you can handle some important issues for a process to be controlled by an S7 300 via FB41.
