Motor Vibration.

Sparcky Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am wondering if anyone can help. We have a horizontal borer, it has a siemens 840D control, and asimodrive 611. When under load the siemens 3 phase motor is vibrating, we have checked all mechanical drives and couplings. We have changed the axis that is feeding it, and from inches/rev to inches/minute. Unfortunatley the machine was archived over a year ago and would not load up with the old data, so we re-loaded the current archive. Suspect motor or drive issue, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

danial Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	Dear Sparcky, It depends on the state of the motor, it can be damage in the motor or just tunning for the parameters of themotor. but as I said it depends on the state of the motor which must be seen for diagnose. I believethat wehad a similar problem a few yearsago and a siemens engineer was called, I recall the engineer changing loop gains on the parameters. Does this soundfamilar? Thanks again.
