Just add small point, For S7-1200 functions " MOVE_BLK","UMOVE_BLK" support data transfer via DBs and local memories.Read more HERE.As S7-1200 has been used for Micro-automation,With limited analog signals in a machine, I suggest using MOVE function to transfer inputs to memories. You also have option of testing FOR loop in SCL with indirect addressing to automate transfer task.Try it for S7-1200 in TIA V13.
Note,TIA V13 also supports "BLKMOV" for S7-300/400 with same functionlaity as explained before. |

Thanks for the positive feedback (..and thanks to whomever awarded the star rating.) This command was intended for "compatibility" issues, but fits your requirements nicely. Please do have a look at the in-software documentation for the descirption its use and for the other PEEK/POKE instructions. Recently I have used PEEK_BOOL to build a general HMI look-up table for PLC I/O that can be updated to any list of I/O within 5 minutes. (As inspired by Jens_App and huggy_d1.) It works beautifully. I foresee no issue for you, but feedback would be most welcome for other members in our forum clan.. after doing a live test. Greetings. w |
