MP277 blank screen problem

orlandini_nunez Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	we have an MP277 with a blank screen (white), at first i thought it could be a problem with the OS, but I tried to update the system with the prosave tool but i cannot connect with the MP277, I use a RS-485 cable converter, (PPI). i think probably the bios is corrupted but i'm not sure, does anybody could have an idea about how to solve this issue? The RS232/PPI Multi Master cable (with 8 DIP switches) can be used if DIP switch number 5 is set to PPI/freeport ("0"). The cable must be dead for it to accept the change. orlandini_nunez Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	hello all thanks for your comments. i'm not sure if it is the cable the problem. with a new brand mp277 touchscreen 10" we upgrade the OS successfully but it is not working with this blank screen mp277, i think due i cannot configure the port i can not stablish the connection. is there a procedure how to boot the mp277 from a memory stick and what file must we have in the memory stick? regards. When you have RS232 multimaster PPI cable, you can perform an OS update with the option "Reset to factory settings". (You will have to power off panel and power on again) There is no option with USB memory stick. Best regards, Wizard
