MP377 OS update - never seen this before

Sims Advanced Member Joined: 5/23/2008 Last visit: 6/19/2022 Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I'm tring to update HMI Panel MP377 with firmware "MP377_V1_0_4_0.img" but I'm getting the following message (see attached) "Reboot the SIMATIC HMI device with the dialog "OP Properties",Register "Device"." I tried rebooting then putting the panel into Transfer Mode but nothing. I cannot load my new WinCC Flex 2008 SP2 project until I do this OS update. I have updated HMI's before many times before and never come across this message. Can someone please explain this mesage to me. Thanks.

To update the OS you will need to enter the MAC addess in the options before you initiate an OS update, otherwise the WinCC Flex will not be able to "find" the Panel using the IP address because it will be in it's Boot Loader and not in Win CE Transfer mode.

MIrNa1144 Posts: 49 Rating: (0)	i try to os update,also check mark reset to factory setting,but when i check mark reset to factory setting show me communication failt but when remove check mark can os update,but no to factory setting.
