I found the UPM library and this example: // Instantiate a DS1037 on I2C bus 0 upm::DS1307 *rtc = new upm::DS1307(0); // always do this first cout << "Loading the current time... " << endl; if (!rtc->loadTime()) { cerr << "rtc->loadTime() failed." << endl; return 0; } printTime(rtc); // set the year as an example cout << "setting the year to 50" << endl; rtc->year = 50; rtc->setTime(); // reload the time and print it rtc->loadTime(); printTime(rtc); my question is: can I use the upm library in a C/C++ eclipse project? I have: #include "ds1307.hpp" the error is: C:\Users\massimiliano\Documents\GIT\IOT2000\IOT2000 Release/..\example.cpp:39: undefined reference to `upm::DS1307::DS1307(int)' Thanks, Massimiliano

DevGuy Posts: 40 Rating: (2)	okay, you have a LINKER error, seems you need to include the library to your project. I am no expert for the upm library, but there is something in the image like "/usr/lib/libupm-ds1307.so". Try to find your linker settings in eclipse and add "-lupm-ds1307"

Right click on your whole project folder -> Properties -> C/C++ Build -> Settings ->IOT2000 C++ Linker -> General Here you have to add -lupm-ds1307. (see attached screenshot) Best regards!
