MSI File initialization failed-Error Install remote prohibited

But in step Configuration appeared message as in subject of this post. I have windows 7 64-bit with virtual XP OS where I tried to install. Can someone tell me what's wrong. Thanks.

At other side, there is no offitial garanty that it runs in virtual machines. Witch XP version do you have (XP SP3)? Can you post the printscreen of the error message?

This OS is installed on virtual machine under windows 7 professional 64-bit as compatibility XP mode. Under XP, I installed all Siemens and other 32-bit software (step 7, microwin, TIA portal 10.5, wincc flexible 2008, logosoft,....) and all work properly... BR

ERROR_INSTALL_REMOTE_PROHIBITED; Details: ; Path: \\TSCLIENT\E\InstData\UCLES\Media\WINCCBASUCL.msi Now I am not sure as why this error occurs but we can clarify very quickly: 1. Do you connect via remote desktop on that virtual machine?If yes, canyou open the VM console screen and try to install again. 2. If the above is not true can you copy all the setup files locally on your vm folders (C:\SetupDirTmp\) and run the setup again? Dec
