multi-instance DB in step 7 basic

I am new to step 7 basic, here is my problem:
I created a FB for converting analog input and output with options to set analog channel range, scaled range just like AB (SCL function), but everytime I call it in another FB, I have to create a new DB for it as the DB is single-instance. How to make a multi-instance data block to associate with the FB I created?

We are talking about Step7 Basic. Multiinstance like in "normal" Step 7 is not possible in that way.
What you can do is, call the FB several times and enter the DB, that already exists (not a new one). Then every call uses the same DB. But beware, data from previous call will be overwrite. Make sure, that you deal with the data before that.

And all variables will be deleted and changed be new ones, declared in a new FB or just supplemented by new values? Trying to check this, because FB doesn't see DB that is already generated by the priviouse FB. Perheps, previous FB should declare the variables of the future FB?

Hi,

The multiinstance DB for S7-1200 is just released for several functions of the Siemens library and not for own written FB's.

This functionality will be included in a later version.
