Need help with Option handling

Hello, 

Can u pls help mi with option handling ?? 

Ive go onlu 1200 CPU and local modules, lets say 4 moduls in my standard, but it is changing from time to time, we can have only 2 or 3 or LEFT GPRS modul etc..

Im using V16 TIA, but a cannot do it proparly, Ive read manusal, but onlu for I/O profinet devices not with local setup, 

Can u pls send mi some small project of your where it is functional so I can take a look and do it accoridng your project ??

Split from Option handling for safety modules.

The documentation clearly states nothing to the left of the PLC is available for option handling.  If you want to use them optionally, you need a different tool, like TIA Openness that can build your PLC hardware configuration using software to automatically create a project file.

Or, you can put those devices onto a separate s7-1200 PLC as a remote I-Device that is either included in the project, or not.

Hope that is useful or at least explains what you probably already found out for yourself when you read the documentation for options handling (in the S7-1200 system manual, or F1-help for it inside TIA Portal).

Hello, have you tried like these options in device configuration:

In CPU properties go to startup and there choose

Startup after Power ON: warm restart -RUN ;

Compoarison preset to actual configuration: Startup CPU even if mismatch

In GPRS module properties go to communication types and there check:enable online functions, enable S7 communications to the CPU, Enable SMS

then try do compile software and hardware rebuil all

and then download to your CPU
