need simple example how the HSC should be properly used

So there's no need to use HSC_CTRL block in order to use high speed counter? If this is just an value in the memory, how should reset be performed? Thanks in advance, Radek

In fact I have seen those, and i keep reading these manuals, however no simple example is presented in there. Can anyone help with this? How to acces counter actual value and how toreset counter is the most important for me, second thing is how to generate appropriate interrupt. Thanks in advance. Best regards, Radek

(you will have to go to Device configuration -> High speed counters. Go to the desired HSC, here you can select Reset options. If you want to use digital input, you will find under Hardware inputs, the input you can use) Or you can use CTRL_HSC to write a new Counter value. You parametrize the right HSC, then write the new Counter value to NEW_CV and when CV is 1, means request to set new counter value. Hope this will guide you in right direction. Best regards, Wizard

JQ5000 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	So just to clarify, setting the CV value to 1 to change the current value constituted as a reset and will thereby trigger the reset hardware interrupt? I have been wondering this too and trying to figure out what interrupts to use and what constitutes a reset for the CTRL_HSC. Thanks for the thread guys, its already been helpful.
