negative edge?

crazy taxi Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hi there i wrote this subject before in Sep5 section because i didn't find step7 300 software section, and i thought it might be the same, but it seems like not. so i'm sorry if i'm writing my problem in the wrong place. also i want to say that i'm using Ladder diagram only. i have very simple question that i couldn't find an answer for it. i was programming a sequence of events, when i reached the point where i need to use a negative edge or "falling edge" because i want the action to happen after the object across the sensor, not at the beginning or during, but after crossing the sensor. i hope i made it clear enough. thanks allot

Dongerpure Bronze Member Joined: 3/8/2011 Last visit: 5/17/2023 Posts: 262 Rating: (19)	Hello, your logic is write. It enables the ouput with pulse when Input I0.6 changes it state from "0" to "1". If you want to check in simulation or to keep the output steady just use the set bit for output.

In your picture mentioned the output gets reset or goes low when your input changes from 1 to 0 i.e when the object is crossed and you loose the sensor your output goes off if you use reset bit. Let me know if got the solution.
