Negative voltage in SM322

Saruca Posts: 122 Rating: (1)	Hi everyone, I'm almost sure about the answer to my first question (which is 'no') but there's no harm in asking. I have to control the direction of rotation of an actuator's shaft and to do so I need to reverse the polarity on its leads. I know I can easily do it by using relays in an external circuit but that would make my system slower. I also know that there are some output modules for S7-1200 which include relay ouputs and that could be a solution but here come the questions: Is it possible to reverse polarity using common digital outputs? I'm planning on using a high speed module SM322 for S7-300. Is there a digital output module for S7-300 that includes relay outputs? I have been searching but I haven't succeed in finding it. Thank you so much for your time and sorry again if my questions are too silly.

Saruca I'm planning on using a high speed module SM322 for S7-300. Solid You should use solid state relays instead of electromechanical relays to avoid delays. Saruca Is there a digital output module for S7-300 that includes relay outputs? I have been searching but I haven't succeed in finding it. PowerTagshas already given you the modules and you can also use the A&D mallor the ST7 catalog in the future. You can also contact your nearest Siemens office and ask them for the CA01 catalog. And I would like to add that in this case, you don't need to use relay output module, as it will add delay also. Go for transistor output to avoid delays. Digital Outputs MLFB: 6ES7322-1BH01-0AA0 6ES7322-1BL00-0AA0 6ES7322-8BF00-0AB0 and for high speed output: 6ES7322-1BH10-0AA0
