I was using TIA Portal 15.1, TIA Portal 17 for a long time. Recently I updated to TIA Portal V18. After the update I was not able to see the Type of PG/PC interface. It was always showing "Teleservice". This happened to me in all TIA portal versions. I uninstalled my TIA Portal 18 after this issue. It dodnt help. After then a thread from the forum gives me the solution. The solution was to make the "S7DOS Help Service" in the service as automatic. It helped and now I am able to see the PN/IE and the PG/PC interface as seen in the document attached. Now when I search for the accessible nodes it is not displaying the PLC -S7 1500 that is connected to my system. When I conencted the PLC to the company network it is visible for others in their TIA portal. So the wired physical connecction is good. What is the easiest way to get the accessible nodes list back ? Is there a place to check whether the PG/PC configuration is good other than Set PG/PC interface ? Do I need to unistall all the software from TIA portal? I am attaching some relevant screenshots here AttachmentPG_PC_Interface.pdf (284 Downloads) |

Thank you, that was missing somehow, perhaps from my uninstallation of TIA portal 18 and its associated components. I installed them back . Now the ethernet adapter has the follwoing as you can see in the screenshot. Profinet IO Protocol (DCP/LLDP) SIMATIC Industrial Ehternet (ISO) PROFINET IO R-Protocol V2.3 But however the access is not possible. But in the online status information atleast it started to show "Searching for accessible nodes on the selected interface" (this is also attached) AttachmentPG_PC_Interface_Improved.pdf (315 Downloads) |
