not able to configure Y-LINK in the HW Config

When I try to drag-and-drop the IM-153-2 HF (6ES7-153-2BA02-0XB0) from the catalog, the PROFIBUS address interface appears. After I assign the address and select "Interface module for PROFIBUS-DP", it gives a message "Unable to insert the object". Screenshot of the issue is attached. JD_techflirt Posts: 95 Rating: (1)	Hi All, We have to select Y-link for one of our PCS7 project. Which Y-link should we select?? 6ES7 197-1LA04-0XA0? or 6ES7 197-1LA11-0XA0 According to PCS7 manual we should use 2nd one. but why? and y cant we use frst one? Regards, JD

Hulzhex Gold Member Joined: 8/25/2005 Last visit: 10/5/2024 Posts: 1162 Rating: (111)	Hello JD_techflirt, with the product information of the 6ES7197-1LA04-0XA0 the information is given, that it is BASED ON IM153-BA02 and NOT FIT FOR PCS7 V6.1. Think there are the same restrictions for newer versions of PCS 7. Best regards Sabine
