As Mr.Vijay said, OLR must be connected below Main Contactor. Then you can measure the current all the time including star delta conversion. Typical Example: Attachment att.gif (311 Downloads)

Typical Example: Dear , At the runnig condition both the contacotrs will be close Main as well as Delta so if i put the OLR below the Delta contactor than????

Dear Chetan2490, you can put OLR in two position first one is above the main contactor and second one is below the main contactor.Now if you put OLR above the main contactor at that time you have to used OLR of full rating that means 100% rating or say motor full load current rating OLR you must have to use.But if you put OLR below the main contactor then the OLR should be 58% rating require instead of 100%. That is means if you put OLR below main contactor is beneftial for the company or say cost saving. Hope now your doubt is clear. Kind regards
