I've been having a loog around the internet for a piece of software to flash a LOGO without using the softcomfort IDE. We need to upgrade the firmware of a LOGO on site and would like not to have to use the full softcomfort package to do this. Is there anything that can do this sort of job without giving the customer chance to change the program? Cheers

Hello, Upgrading the firmware is not possible. If you mean changing the program to a newer version, you can use a memory cartridge, change the program, store it on a memorycard by using same type of logo. You can then send the card and the logo will start with new program. In case of a logo 7 you can use a mmc to store the program. Regards, Marcjanl

Sorry forgot to include the LOGO verison, we're using a V6. And yes changing the program is what I meant. The memory card solutions sounds ideal, does the LOGO automatically run a program from the memory cahrd if one is present? |

Hi, yes. You can Load the prog from card rto LOGO! manually, or automatically during power ON/OFF. Hope this helps |
