Online-Offline comparison

Dear All,

After comparison of online and offline

Online backup doesn't show the FB symbols in stat,where as same FB number is used  from offline.

All the comments are represented by stat.

Could you please tell me what could be possible case or solution for it.

My question is I have compared offline and online block then in online block all networks displayed with comments as offline except FB which are called in Stat

FB was written in SCL

You can also see TON i.e SFB4 is also without comment where as in offline it do have comment.

Opened windows are with compare online and offline block.

How can I fix this issue ???

The solution that I am thinking about would be finding the exact offline version ,with comment, that matched the online program.For that, if you are using safety applications, can be done via elaborate comparison function for safety functions plus the ordinary comparison function for standard functionality.

I also recreated your problem with simply adding new FB in static area of root FB and the comparison report some errors with the attached snapshot. To clear the problem, I think I should find the offline project matches the online.

I don't have the offline backup which is matching completely with online and Am not sure whether offline backup is updated one if not It will stop the running system which is quite critical :(.

Think if Standard FB is changed or any stat variable is updated

Do you use Distributed Safety as optional package?

For standard part of your program, just what comparison complains about.Find them and clear the differences.For that, you should be sure which version (Offline or online) version is final?If the online is final , just try to recreate that with available online tools(UDTs and FBs).In this case, you don't need a download and check your work again and again with comparing standard blocks.If the offline version is final, select the standard functions and download them.Even for downloading standard blocks, I suggest doing that when your Machine is in out of service (Shutdown) mode.This is only for  standard part of your program.

Ask people who worked with the machine for a original printed version of the program if available.

yes Distributed safety as an optional package.

Standard block is written in SCL,I will download offline backup if it is working otherwise I will download the uploaded block.

I hope uploaded backup should workout :)
