OP37 + Sinec L2 + VIPA 315 (S7-300)

random222a Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hello! I have Simatic OP37 (6AV3637-1LL00-0AX0), RS485 busterminal Sinec L2 (6GK1 500-0DA00) and VIPA 315-2AG12 (similar to S7-300). Is it possible to communicate OP37 with VIPA via SINEC L2? I know it was originally designed for S5 series but is it possible to use it in this case with S7?

I think this OP has a MPI/DP port, and VIPA also has a MPI/DP port, so you can connect the OP directly to the CPU and discard the SINEC L2.

random222a Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	I just repaired damaged port IF1B on OP37 and I want to check if it works. I know that OP previously worked in network with Sinec L2 and S5 devices, but now I have only Sinec L2 module and Vipa, so I tried to use it in test. Vipa has DP port (some time ago I successfully connected ET200L-SC to it). Thanks for replies, I'm going back to tests.

random222a Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Tests failed. I could not communicate with OP37, probably IF1B is still damaged. Anyone knows what could be broken inside? Which IC or other thing could be a reason of nonworking port IF1B? Others ports are ok, only this one is down.

In my op37 there is already inserted project/program, when I power it up, after self tests it's automaticly shows that program main screen. So how to get to panel system options (like transfer settings etc.)? Is there any key combination to open them?
