OS Compilation error in PCS 7

The error is as follows in the log: Internal Error: Compilation of Process variables was aborted. Error number :15124 In the compilation dialog box, the error no. it gives is "302:3000". How do I get to know what is the error? Attached is the log of the compilation. Please let me know your advices on how to take out this error. Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (278)	Hi Sudheendra R, The error you are getting seems similar to the one described in the following FAQ: How do you clear the error message "Internal error: transfer of process variables has been aborted. Error number: 15424" when compiling the OS project? Also make sure there are no"extra" client licenses on the ES. Regards

I had it solved by using the project 'save as' option and with -reorganize (slow) option checked. I think it re-organized the database and then it is working fine once again. Thanks, Sudheendra

Scott B Posts: 14 Rating: (1)	We had a similiar problem. Performed Save As w/ Reorg. No luck AS would compile fine, but not the OS. The link below talks about the WinCC Project tool in MS Excel This was what I needed. First off, our root cause was the name of an SFC Type. The name had a single quote in it. Once created, an OS compile could not delete it and we got the same Internal Error 15424. I used the WinCC Project tool in Excel and deleted the offending Structured Tag, and then I was able to compile the OS. thn Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello all! I experience a similar problem, propably because I accidently deleted the FB of my SFC Type. I tried full compile/download on AS and it created the FB, but no luck with the OS compilation. I tried Save as with reorg(slow) but no luck either. Then I deleted the FB, then assigned new FB number for my SFC Type and made a full compile/download on AS and then full compile on OS and it worked! Don't know if I'm the only one to be stupid enough to delete SFC Type's FB, but thought I'd share this procedure if someone ever comes across with the same type of problem!
