OS compile&Create/Update Icons Problem

f.arslan Posts: 63 Rating: (0)	Hi, We have a PCS 7 system with; 1 ES included 1 Simatic Batch, 1 Simatic Root 7 OS 2 OS Redundant Server, ES and OS project have in a one Project. And I had writed new Chart with CFC, And I have to see these new project's values, In the ES scada I could see the values, But on the other OS scada i couldn't. Beacuse of new value should be OS tag. But I can't compile OS and Create update icons, While there aren't any OS picture in the project file. Itested one time OS compile, but all the value in the OS were lost. Do you have procespictures in your hyrarchie and are they set to "create&update blockicons"? Is the "create block icon" on your block set? if all questions are answerd by yes, you should have icons on your pictures, right? If you do not have any pictures or template pictures to create icons in you should do it by hand. The strcuture tags are compiled anyway in you OS server. hope this helps, Good Luck, Jaap

Firstly you make a setting by right clicking on the project which you would see in the plant hierarchy and create/update block icon. It says till what level do you want to include block icons,also you can select the block or chart you want to include in the block icon name. Make sure you select proper OS assignment in the plant hierarchy. The OS Server is to be selected because you want to download the project to the OS-Servers.

f.arslan Posts: 63 Rating: (0)	Thanks a lot, For your questions, I haven't some process pictures, I think they were deleted by programmer beore. See the attachment, When i set the new picture, i couldn't create&update icons. When i compile OS,I lost all the dataand commincation beetween OS server and ES.
