OS update of MP277 IWLAN

When i transfered an application to a mobile panel 277 IWLAN (6AV6-645-0DD01-0AX0) using WinCC Fexible 2008 SP2 a message appeared saying that i needed to upgrade the OS of the panel.

I accepted the OS Upgrade, unfortunately the transference freezed, and i did reboot the panel. Now the load doesn't complete, and shows:

Loading image from flash...

ERROR: Image is corrupt!

Waiting for image update...

It seems like the firmware dind't update completely and is corrupted.

After reading the manual i found out that i can restore the firmware at the start of the boot, using a MicroMemoryCard, but i should have done the backup first, which i didn't.

Is there any other way to restore the panel?

i can't see it in my wireless network using the Primary Setup Tool, so i can't restory via the wireless network.

If somebody uploads a backup file of their own panel, could i use it to restore mine?

I had pretty much the same issue with this mobile panel. The difference is that I was able to download the OS Update through the RJ45 port but I kept getting the mobile panel to freeze after a few minutes of having the wincc app running. I was using wincc flex 2008 sp2 and the mobile panel I have is the same that JAT has.

A colleague of mine told me to use the wincc flex 2008 sp3 to fix this problem. I installed all the software contained in the sp3 and updated the panel as well but without the "reset to factory settings". But the same happened.

Now I tried to download the OS Update using the "reset to factory settings" but it got interrupted and at the end the mobile panel boot screen showed "image not found".

I can ping the mobile panel through the RJ45 port and it works but if I try to download the OS update it tells me to check the cables, interface, connection, etc.

Is there anything else I can try to fix it?
