P_SEL, I_SEL and D_SEL - FB41

Eduardo Bannwart Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	I'm using FB41, but the control presents problems of instability and I suspect this setting below: Entries P_SEL, I_SEL, and D_SEL of the block FB41,are sets to false, true, and false, respectively. This means that the formula for PID, the value of K = 0 (gain), Ti = TI (block FB41) and Td = 0 (derivative time)? What is the formulaof thecalculating this block do? Thanks for the help.

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 5/26/2023 Posts: 6802 Rating: (1345)	hello dear member Check the attachment for some clues.For loop instability you need to select the proper controller (P,PI,PID) for your process.The selection is done by P_SEL,I_SEL and D_SEL. I think you do not need the formulation to tune your loop.
