Password Menu acces LOGO!8

I have the same problem and none of the manuals referenced work. I was playing around with remote access password which did not seem to take initially. And then suddenly, the default password is not working and I don't know  what I set the password to when I was playing around. Without knowing this password, I can't use any of the transfer tools. Nothing works because everyone of them requires http password and I don't know how to reset it to the default password "LOGO".

I cleared the program on LOGO BM but that does not help with clearing the remote access( aka http) password. Can someone please help? 

I found a solution to my problem regarding the password after reading the manual more carefully.  Lost passwords can be reset or cleared as long as you are connected to the LOGO module through the SoftComfort program on a PC whose ip address is in the same network as the LOGO.

LOGO does not ask for a remote access password as long as both PC and the BM are on the same network. Then, you can use any of the transfer tools to reset the passwords for any of the access types. 

This may be obvious to most users but it wasn't for me probably because I had a set up where my PC was on a different network from the LOGO and I was entering password each time I use the transfer tools. I hope this post helps someone find the answer more quickly.

If you lost the password for program protection, there is only one solution available:

Tools > Transfer > Clear User Programm and Password.

if you try to reset the password by using this option,
The program will be deleted as the option says but the password still remains!

You can check this by going back to the program password menu and you will see that all 3 lines or white in stead of just 2 as in the begin situation...

We are now december 2018 and this problem still exist ...

Does anybody has an idea when this problem (probably in the LOGOsoft comfort software itselve) can be solved?  I'm using now LOGOsoft comfort V8.2.

you can also change/delet the PW via a MicroSD-card.

To do so:

Create a valid program in LSC, pluggin the MSD-card to your PC.

In LSC select:

+ Safe as

in the dialog change to the following settings:

Don't change the filename.

Plugin the card to LOGO! and do a power cycle. This will delete the PW if you do not specify one in the program on the MSD-card.

To let you know, I had the same kind of issue.

A logo suddenly lost software and when trying to connect to upload software, a password is required.

Trying the option "Delete user program and password" bring an error about inconsistent data or JAVA error.

The problem was the programming console was on another IP configuration than the LOGO ; and this includes : IP, Subnet & Gateway. DNS left empty.

Then, no problem to reload all software.
