PC ADAPTER USB

Basic Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have been using the CP5512 before thru a PCMCIA adapter as I had a computer with a PCMIA slot , have been using a new laptop since last week , which does not support PCMCIA , so the company provided with a PC adapter MPI to USB .I am unable to communicate to a STAHL cpu ( Type 9440/15 ) connceted on a DP network .It works fine when I am hooked to a CPU on MPI port , but when I try to hook up to Remote I/0 device like Stahl , it fails to power up , could any body help me out as to why does it work on when hooked up thru CP 5512 , but fails thru PC adapter mpi to usb .Any suggestion on weather I could use some kind of an adapter where in I could plug my pcmcia thru a usb adapter .

The CP5511 / 5512 doesn't need it. Either you build yourself any kind of power module for the adapter.
