Hi Guys, My client has cable for connecting PC to S7-200 - 6ES7901-3DB30-0XA0. While unplugging cable, he accidently broken off the RS plug. Now he has a problem how to connect cables that he tear off. Do You have any cabling/wiring scheme of this device to help him fix it? Best would be wire color - pin number ralation. Thanks in advance. |

If you can connect to PLC, the you can reset the PLC with the PPI-cable using Wipeout.exe. This tool you can find on the MocroWIN CD ROM. Hopw this helps |

Thanks for your info. I have a problem with my cable, but it's PC/PPI cable type. Somebody had cut 9-pin D-Type male connector (to PLC). So, i can't find it again. I just bought a new connector. Tomorrow, i'll try follow your way. Thanks! P/S: Colors of cable: Black, Brown, Red, Ogran, Yellow, Green. Truong Nhat. |

Hello Group: I was wondering if there was ever a post defining the pinout by means of wire color to pin. I have the same situation as pictured above where the connector (to the plc) has broken off completely with no reference as to which wire went to which pin. Many thanks in advance. |
