It sounds like you already installed siemens software on your pc/laptop. The best option is to start from scratch. Soclean the pc, install windows and all required updates and then install pcs7. You have to read theinstallation manual carefully. Its very important,I can tell you Good luck |

As Oreca has said, PCS7 V7.0 [any SP] is not compatible with WinCC V7.0. Kindly Check the compatibility Matrix of Siemens Softwares for further reference. Also, Installing PCS7 on a machine which already has other SIMATIC Softwares installed is not advisible as installing PCS7 may render the whole set up unstable and unfit for use. If there is any problem during installation, the only recourse is to format the PC and start from scratch. Also bear in mind that you need to install Microsoft Windows XP Prof SP2 only as the security patches required by PCS7 V7.0 are available only for Windows XP SP2.
