"The messages are sent unsolicited from the application program running in CPU. The CP341 must be in a continuous listening state to get the messages.The actual raw array data will be output in a row column comma separated form (.csv format) at the start and stop of an inspection.

All data output through this link will contain 5 digits representing data from 0 to 9999 degrees with one decimal of precision. The decimal point will not be included. The data will be comma separated.

The individual frames and arrays will be terminated with a carriage return and line feed.”

Is it a workable solution ? Apart from P_RCV_RK and P_SND_RK , is there any other standard block for this kind of communication ? Or do I need need to SCL program for recognizing and segregating the data ?

For data transmission using the ASCII driver you can choose between three different end

criteria for data receipt. The end criterion defines when a complete message frame is

received. The possible end criteria are as follows:

● Expiration of the character delay time

The message frame has neither a fixed length nor a defined end-of-text character; the

end of a message frame is defined by a pause on the line (expiration of character delay

time).

● Receipt of the end-of-text character(s)

The end of the message frame is marked by one or two defined end-of-text characters.

● Receipt of fixed number of characters

The length of the receive message frames is always identical.

The second method seems to be what you are looking for.
