Hello, well I am not the specialist in here for mobile communication but isn't GPRS a package orientated Communication over the Internet? In my mind you will never be able to dial into this via a Modem. The only way to get this to work would be over GSM... or over the Internet, but the IP of the GPRS Modem is behind a NAT SIP Firewall... so you will have a bit of a Problem to figure out where to go to. I know that some People use a constant Connection from the Site over their Modem to a PC with DynDNS or fixed IP to get the IP and Port of the PLC but I do not know if this is a solution for you, especially if you want to do remote Access for programming. I am not sure if this is the right way to do so. Maybe you think about using a VPN, this works, at least with one of our GPRS Modems (MD 740) Check this out: Secure Remote Access to SIMATIC Stations via Internet using GPRS Modem MD740-1 and SCALANCE S612 (Configuration 9) Have fun!
