PID Control: PID_Compact vs CONT_C

there are not so much differences.

Which PID-Control you use is depending of your application and your PLC.

The PID_Compact have the advantage that you have the Autotuning function.
If you can tune your PID automatically then it's a very good application and easy to handle.
Another advantage there is the Anti-'Windup-function. 
The reactions after a error or restart can also defined.

The Cont_C have the advantage that you must define all parameter P, I, D, Deathband and more.
You can change the parameters during your process.
for the Cont_C you need a little bit experience with PID.

Please look at this document PID-Control, there is a explanation for all PID-functions.
Both PID-Control are a "little" bit different.
