PLCSIM - Simulation CPU without MPI?

marzenta Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Hello, is it possible to simulate, with PLCSIM 5.3 a CPU (CPU 315-2 PN/DP) with the MPI/DP interface set to DP (so MPI disabled)? I've tried but when downloading step7 tell me that it is not possible to connect to the CPU... Any suggestion? Thanks

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	What is your PG/PC interface set to? You should be able to download to the PLCSIM with the PG/PC interface set to PC Adapter(MPI) or PC Adapter(Profibus).

With S7-PLCSIM V5.4 you can search through the STEP 7 projects and select a networking subscriber for the establishment of a simulation connection. S7-PLCSIM will simulate the CPU of the selected subscriber, all the subscribers belonging to the CPU and the subnetwork of the selected subscriber.
